1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Lenza ("we," "us," or "Company") governing your access to and use of the Lenza platform and services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lenza is a product intelligence platform that:

• Connects to your GitHub repositories to analyze source code
• Uses artificial intelligence to answer questions about your codebase in natural language
• Maintains a knowledge base of capabilities and product information
• Enables team collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Provides role-based responses (business-friendly or technical)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account by authenticating through GitHub OAuth. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Be at least 16 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• Have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use or security breach at security@lenza.app

4. User Content and Code Ownership

4.1 Your Ownership Rights

You retain all ownership rights to your source code, documentation, and any other content you provide to the Service ("Your Content"). Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights in Your Content to us.

4.2 License to Lenza

By connecting repositories and using the Service, you grant Lenza a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Access, copy, and analyze Your Content to provide and improve the Service
• Create embeddings and indexes of Your Content for search functionality
• Process Your Content through AI systems to generate responses to your queries
• Store Your Content as necessary to provide the Service

This license terminates when you disconnect your repositories or delete your account.

5. AI Processing and Third-Party Services

5.1 AI-Powered Features

Lenza uses artificial intelligence (specifically, OpenAI's language models) to analyze code and generate responses. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Portions of your code may be sent to OpenAI's API for processing
• AI-generated responses may not be 100% accurate and should be verified
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content
• OpenAI processes data according to their API data usage policy (they do not use API data for training)

5.2 No AI Training on Your Code

We do not use your code or content to train AI models. Your data is used solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Subscription Plans and Payment

6.1 Subscription Tiers

Lenza offers multiple subscription tiers (Free, Pro, Team, Enterprise) with different features, limits, and pricing as described on our pricing page.

6.2 Paid Subscriptions

For paid plans:

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• Price Changes: We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Changes apply to subsequent billing periods.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
